@gracefull:  Your ring is gorgeous! Smart to not wear it on your outdoor excursions. And that solitaire is so sweet. I love stones in all sizes. They both really compliment your hand in their own way. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

I want to play! I haven’t been on the boards in years, but when you get something new….πŸ˜‰ I wanted another ring to wear at work that was more secure than my others (I work with livestock and kids). The hubby and I are also avid campers (no hiking, mostly fishing), so I finally found a very budget friendly piece that accommodates work and play. I also ordered a thin platinum band to go with it…now I have to wait for that!

.66 OEC in matte platinum. It’s a hot mess under my loupe, but gorgeous to the naked eye. But this will be for work/play so the specs weren’t too important to me as long as it was an OEC πŸ˜‰

OP your band is so pretty! I’m waiting on a custom 7 stone band from Tianyu to go with my 3 stone ring.

I got a few more treasures πŸ™‚ and all of them are off being sized and modified. frown The first picture below is my latest pawn shop find a meteor cut diamond that I am having sized. Under that is a picture of my new old mine cut diamond earrings that I am having La Pousette post/backings put on them. And I posted a pic of the solitaire I am plucking the diamond out of and having it mounted on a fun diamond band my mom found. All pawn shop treasures of course πŸ™‚ All three are my latest find and all are at the jewelers being worked on, so I am very lonely. Oh and I will post a picture (last pic) of another fun find but I am not having anything done to it… yet. I suspect its very old… how old I do not know… Georgian… Victorian… a revival piece? I have no earthly clue. But its pretty interesting. If it is original, I assume it was at one point attached to a much larger piece. But its still so cool!

just collected my wedding band today actually! was concerned that it would be too delicate/dainty (i had ring fatigue from looking at so many rings that i made a hasty desiscion to be over and done with haha)

but i love how it paired with my ering! now to wait until i can actually wear it :’)

I’m back! I am having this guy made again but with a 9×7 instead of the 8×6 crushed ice oval Moissanite.

Just picked up my ring from the local jeweler to get my stone set!  Setting from Starsgem, tanzanite from a store in NYC.
