Yay! Furniture shopping is so stressful- I hate how high pressure sales people are and if they bother me too much, I just leave. I don’t want or need the pressure on something I use every day. But it sounds like you got a chunk of it done, so congrats! Pictures!

Haha.  Love this post.  We did this last fall — a chair and two dressers.  It’s weird because we talked about it for over a year and then one weekend just went all out.

I’m the worst furniture decision maker EVER… so I completely understand! It’s why we still don’t have a dining room table after living in the house for 2 years!!!  Congrats on the decisions!!

How exciting! We did this last weekend. We went around town all day and went to about a dozen furniture stores. We finally ended up with a new sectional, ottomen and coffee table/side tables. We need new lamps also, but we have just not had the energy to go back to out to do more shopping for the living room. Most of ours should be in this week, we are soooo excited. I am so tired of our old couch, I can’t wait!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow, that’s super nice!  Did you find the furniture at a local store, or a store that is possibly in other states?

We’ve been furniture shopping for a while and still have a bare bedroom and living room, can’t wait to rip off the band-aid like you!  But, I’m like Lemon, and I’m not good at making furniture decisions, lol.

So, neither store is in California… ๐Ÿ™  But, I’m still going to browse their sites, I’m sure if I feel in love with something I could get it shipped! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Ms.Teddy:  That’s so true, that’s how I feel when I walk in furniture stores, too!  Part of my problem with finding furniture is that I fall in love with something, like this bed, then when I can’t find it to buy, nothing else compares, so I’m left with nothing.
