Rising gas prices didn’t change our plans but definitely shortened our guest list….a lot of people said they just couldn’t afford to travel to our wedding because of cost of airline tickets and gas prices going up.  O well, makes it cheaper for us, less people to pay for!!  haha

They pretty much affect everything.  Not only wedding things.  Food prices, housing, heating…

We’ll still invite everyone on our list, but I won’t be surprised if there are a few more ‘decline with regrets’ due to the gas prices (if they’re shooting up like this again next spring). Like a PP said, I guess it ends up saving us money in the long-run, but it will be interesting to see how the gas prices change the RSVPs.

I’m with jenroh – didn’t plan around it, but VERY few people are coming from out of town (though somehow, most of my family is coming.  Just people recovering from surgery that couldn’t come.)

I’m not worried about the wedding so much, but it’s definitely affecting our honeymoon plans… trying to narrow down the list of what we’d like to do because it’s gotten SO high lately.

111 out of 200 guests are within an hour away, so I don’t think that will have much to do with who does or doesn’t come.
