ooo- how fun!! We’re going to the sister resort El Dorado Maroma nearby so I’m looking forward to hearing what all there is to do around there! I hope you get to enjoy the beach!!

@Jillybean07:  My cousin had her Destination Wedding there in 2009, it was absolutely amazing! Kampai is my favorite restaurant but the others are good too. The one I didn’t care for was D’Italia it just wasn’t what I was expecting. The Mexican one was closed for renovations although I heard the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, they make you feel at home and relaxed. One more thing to add, there’s a guy who books excursions in the front lobby but he’s not the best price and he’s not part of the hotel staff he seems to be his own entity that they allow on site. If you want to do any excursions, ask the hotel front desk staff or call the number yourself from the hotel they will usually pick you up and it’s cheaper. I would go there again in a heartbeat! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
