I ordered my wedding gown through RK Bridal because their price was better than I could get back home even with a trunk show discount (I’m in Chicago).  I was a little nervous ordering it from out of state.  And lo and behold, when I received my dress the color was off from what I thought I had ordered – yikes!  I sent an email to RK Bridal and got a response the next day.  They have been really responsive so far – they sent me a UPS tag so I could ship the dress back to them for free for their assessment.  They then also sent it back to the manufacturer for a look.  RK just told me yesterday that the manufacturer said the dress is within their dye lot variation and is returning it to me.  I’m going to call RK on Monday and see if there are any options for exchange, since the dress is not what I wanted.  They may not do anything further, but at least they took my concern seriously, pursued it with the manufacturer, and was responsive.  Hope that helps!

@tuscanbride: I had never heard of this program before, but it seems like a great deal (especially for a bride that has mostly Out of Town bridesmaids). I’m really interested in seeing your review after the dresses come in. πŸ™‚

Oh, I wish it came in lighter!  The dress I received was darker than the store sample.  That’s why I was so surprised!  Anyways, hopefully RK will help me sort it out.

I know of two brides who used the RK Bridal no frills program and loved it.  They had no problems, and their dresses were beautiful!

@tuscanbride: Awesome.  Tks!  Can you do that after you try on in the store with them (or will they remember you?)
