- Wedding: July 2010
We got married in Feb and are having our wedding in July. For our honeymoon, we are putting the top down on the convertible, driving to San Fran, maybe a bit further south, then back up the coast to Seattle to catch a baseball game or two before heading back to Idaho.
We expect to be driving with the top down A LOT (for those of you who are into cars, I have to say I freakin’ LOVE driving/riding in this car – it’s a 2010 Mustang GT500 Shelby Cobra, convertible, obviously)! My issue is…..I need some ideas on what to do with my hair during this time. When I/we drive around home, I just throw it up into a clip, but it’s not the most comfortable because of the way the headrests are made. I end up with the clip being closer to the top of my head. Then there’s the matter of my hair, in general. It’s just past my shoulders, and naturally almost curly. 🙂 Whatever style I wear it in for more than 5 minutes, it’s there until I wash it, so wearing a hat during the whole trip means serious hat-hair, and I’d rather avoid that if possible, not to mention the headaches wearing a hat too long gives me.
Any ideas on how to do something like a scarf that will stay in place (we’ll likely be going faster than slower since so much is highway – did I mention the car is REALLY fun), but that I can take off and replace fairly easily? Am I asking for the impossible?
If you have any ideas, I’d love to hear them! Thanks and wish all of you the best on your weddings, etc. 🙂
