So, Darling Husband and I are participating in two Rob Your Neighbor activities. The limits are $25 or less, no gift cards. They’re not supposed to be gag gifts, and it spans college aged – 60+. Does anybody have any good ideas for us? I’m thinking about some SNL-themed refrigerator magnets for the one, since nearly everybody in my family loves SNL.

I like giving people goofy kitchen items like titanic-themed ice cube trays, funky cookie cutters, etc.

I find edibles like chocolates tend to be popular with some groups. Other ideas would be ornaments, christmas DVDs or CDs, alcohol if allowed, mugs.

I’m participating in a White Elephant thing this Saturday, and I’m bringing something cool that I actually wouldn’t mind getting myself. It’s practical, and all ages could use one (especially in this rough economy)…. Diversion safes!! They make such realistic ones – I just think they’re so cool. I bought 2 different ones.
