I live in CT, and it is getting SO COLD in the mornings! I don’t like getting dressed into my work clothes right when I get out of bed because they’re all pressed and neat, and I like to lounge around for a bit to “wake up”.
So I’m looking for a robe to buy! I want a soft “keep me warm” robe, and not a bathrobe.. do these exist? I don’t even know what stores to look into for robes!
Any recommendations, bees?
(I am also 5 feet tall.. so I’ll need a small one!)

Yes, omg. Total impulse buy, and it’s not cheap, but the spa robe from Brookstone. I call it my “cozy robe.” It’s amazing. So soft and, well, cozy.

I got mine at Marshalls, or maybe TJMaxx (they are right next to eachother, eh, same company) It is super comfy and warm, best part it was only $15

A lot of people I know have the hotel collection robe, but say they are prone to shrinkage. Plus, it’s more expensive than the one at the Brookstone, so I’d probably opt for a Brookstone robe, which another poster linked to.

Eesh, both the hotel collection and the brookstone one are expensive – i never knew!
@Aure: Have you washed and dried it? How did it hold up?

@sugarcube: I wash it fairly often and it’s stayed very fluffy. I dry it on whatever the setting is on the tag (low?).

I have a fleece robe. I have no idea where my mom got it but it is so comfortable and warm!

I have a SUPER soft micro fleece robe that I bought last winter at TJ Maxx. It also came with a shower wrap, and I think I paid $20 for them both? Definitely check at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls.
