Haha, I guess you can’t put white hots in there! I was thinking about putting some Tea’s Tea in there (the really awesome green tea they sell at Wegman’s now), and maybe a couple bagels fromthe bakery at Wegger’s and possibly just some boxed/packaged things like oreos or something.

Something Rochester specific… hmm. That’s a good question! You could put some Genny Cream Ale!! Haha!! Sorry I am so not helpful here.

Wegman’s is a good bet, I would just go there and get some of their in-house specialities from the bakery and deli counters. Have fun, and yay for Wegman’s! They are catering my wedding o.O!!!

I agree with mskalinin, I think of white hots and trash plates! haha. I would go to Wegman’s and see what you see walking through the aisles. They always have good muffins & cookies too!

You can go to Wegmans & find something-Maybe go to AAA & find something, or look at those brochures of area attractions to just see if there’s something unique here- I know the Jello Museum is in LeRoy-I’m not sure where you are, but that could be cool to give everyone jello ๐Ÿ™‚ “There’s always room for jello!” haha. Sorry-I love FRIENDS ๐Ÿ™‚

Isn’t the Kodak Museum near Rochester? You could put a disposable Kodak camera in there with a brochure or tag from Kodak museum.

Maybe see if you can get some tarts or gourmet cookies from Phillips European? So good.

White hots are an option but you could maybe put a list of where to find the best. French’s mustard is from Rochestor too.

Also, Arbor Mist wine is made nearby and its cheap! lol

Yeah I was gonna suggest Kodak. My mom and her family are from Rochester and they all worked at the Kodak plant at one point or another. If that’s still there, I think a disposable camera would be a cute idea. Also it’s a good idea to include some brochures for local hotspots – museums, restaurants, sports teams, etc.

I’m not sure when your wedding is but some ideas for upstate NY is apples, maple syrup, NYS State Fair Speedie sauce.

My family lives in SC and those are some of the items that they MUST pick up everytime they’re here. They also pick up cheese (NYS extra sharp) since they don’t sell that in the south either.

I’m completely new to this (first post).

Anyhow, love the Kodak camera idea (Eastman House is sort of the Kodak museum and has a great shop). NY maple syrup would be great. Hot sauce (the garbage plate without all the garbage :P) – I think I’ve seen it bottled at wonderful Wegman’s. Also, check out Hedonist chocolates in the South Wedge. Locally made and really delicious – they even make a “liquer” chocolate with Finger Lakes wine in – you could get one or two for each bag.

If they have down time maybe set them up with a tour of Mt. Hope Cemetary or something to do with Rochester history?

Hedonist chocolates is a great idea- they are delish! I would check out Stevers as well. Boulder Coffee and Spot Coffee are local coffee shops. Simply Crepes is a local crepes resturant that is devine! (brunch after the wedding?)
