@Maurasaurus:  Unfortunately, I’m not a huge rock candy fan, so I voted no…

I also hate rock candy. I think it is cute though especially bc of all the colors. Unfortunately with edible favors there will never be something that EVERYONE loves so I cant suggest anything. I’m doing edible favors and I know that everyone won’t love it but they can leave it and/or give it away when they get home.

@Maurasaurus:  Oops, when I read this I thought it said Pop Rocks and I voted YES! HAHAHA! I think rock candy would be cute, colorful and I would like it but thinking just of my family, I doubt most people (except kids) would eat it. It would essentially be the same as giving out a trinket that most people will throw away.

I love it! It’s a super cute idea, and being vegan, it’s a sweet I can enjoy.

You can’t please everyone, and it matches your colors. I say go for it.

Normally I enjoy rock candy, but the last time I had purple rock candy it turned my lips and mouth purple! And I couldn’t get it off for like, 45 minutes!!

As a wedding guest, I would be a little mortified if my mouth turned purple and I couldn’t get it off. I would definitely test them out before buying to see if it would do the same thing. Hopefully it wouldn’t!

Personally, I’m not a fan, it seems more like a kids birthday party favor.

I don’t like rock candy, but I love this idea!!! It’s cute and original and not something I’ve seen before. With edibles, it’s hard to please everyone, so I say go for it. Even if I didn’t eat it, I would love to see this at a wedding. Maybe that makes me weird.

@Maurasaurus:  Clear would be the safest route! Purple ribbons still though! As a 25 year old, I have definitely been guilty of eating my favor before dinner. Sometimes it can be hard to resist!

My friends had rock candy as favors at their wedding almost 2 years ago. I was just thinking the other day I must throw it out because I haven’t eaten it and probably no one should now 2 years later. But if you did go ahead with the idea, I think it is enough for a favor, I don’t think there is anything that isn’t enough, it’s just a little token.

I love rock candy but I’m pretty sure I’m the only one I know who does (that’s over the age of 12). So I personally would like it, but I can’t say everyone would.
