Hi Bees, I need your help. Our overall wedding theme has nothing to do with Rockabilly style, but my sister, who is my Maid/Matron of Honor, personal style leans toward that. She has that slightly retro look, strong makeup/lip color, now black hair, & a few tats. I love that she is who she is and that is her personality.
My issue is not that it doesnt really coincide with my wedding theme (vintagey shabby chic). I actually dont mind that one bit. In fact I am totally for her playing it up and suiting her style, rather then trying to fit her into our theme.
The issue is, I have no real idea if they make bridesmaid dresses in this kind of style. If so, where to even look. Nor have I really seen pics from other weddings that had a rockabilly flare.
Any suggestions would be amazing! Likewise if you have any style suggestions that kind of bridge the gap from Rockabilly to Shabby Chic, I’m all ears!
One last thing, I am not having any other bridesmaids, only her.

I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for, bu what about this or this? They’re retro and pretty cute- and you could probably make them more rockabilly with the right accessories. You could also try searching etsy for more dresses, too. Try looking for prom dresses, since they might be more common.

Here’s a designer on Etsy that might fit the style: http://www.etsy.com/shop/violavintage?ga_search_query=vintage%2Bstyle%2Bdress&ga_filter=. Etsy is a great resource, and I know there are a ton of online vintage stores that might have what you’re looking for. Good luck!
