Hello Bees!
I found the perfect shoes for my wedding, but of course they weren’t available in my size. Plus, the color I am looking for seems to have been discontinued. I’ve searched online to no avail, but I was hoping that someone with greater internet powers than myself could try. Or if someone comes across them in their local DSW (where I found them) I would Paypal you the cost of the shoes, shipping, and a “you’re and awesome person” gratuity.
The shoes I am looking for are Rocket Dog Thai Silk flats in teal, size 10.

I DEFINITELY saw those last week at Filene’s, though I see you’re in CA and I don’t think they have Filene’s on the west coast, so that’s probably not helpful at all.. Sorry! Good luck! I would definitely stalk Ebay for a while, I’ve had some luck finding discontinued shoes before.

I have very similar ones in green silk (also Rocket Dog) and I have to say they are the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!!! They ripped my heels to shreds the first time I wore them and they’ve been in my closet since 🙁 Those are super cute, but personally after that experience I avoid Rocket Dog shoes.

Bakerella – Your comment made me remember, I also have a similar pair of Rocket Dogs in tan suede and they are also not comfortable at all! I think it may have to do with the fact that Rocket Dogs seem to run very small (I normally wear an 8.5, ended up buying a 9 but probably need a 9.5). Beckaboo1121 – make sure you keep that in mind!!

I bought a similar pair from Rocket Dog in Blue from piperlime – they seem to change colors and availability each season, so it might be worth checking back with some of the places you’ve found them. You might also want to check ebay – lots of new shoes that have been discontinued (and if there arent any on ebay now, you could always save your search to email you if any are listed!)
As far as comfort, I think it really depends on your own feet and shoe preferences. I love Rocket Dogs (both casual ones & the cute flats like yours) and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. In my opinion, they dont run small, but they run a little narrow (which would feel small on a wider foot). I wear the same size in Rocket Dogs as I do any other shoe, but I do have very narrow feet. Just something to consider…

I’m not much of a help with locating these, but I do own these shoes in black and just letting you know that they are amaaaaaaaaazingly comfortable. Favorite nice flats, hands down!

cute and elegant! i don’t have these flats, but the other rocketdog shoes i’ve had have been very comfortable.

After some calling around, I located some at a DSW in Rhode Island and my dad (who lives in Massachusetts) is going to pick them up for me. Yay!
