I’m walking down the aisle to the rock version of Canon (see Jerry C’s youtube video). I need some help choosing a recessional song and a “Grand Entrance” for the reception.
For the recessional I was thinking of using an edited version of Forever & Always by Bullet for my Valentine and Forever by Chris Brown for the grand entrance. I’m having issues with allowing myself to use a Chris Brown song for obvious reasons lol.
I’m digging the “Forever” theme with the music, though. Some of the lyrics of our first dance song are, “Dance with me forever.”
Any other ideas?

Faithfully by Journey? (Classic rock)

Our recessional was AC/DC Highway to Hell. We didn’t have a grand entrance, but maybe something with a “feel good” vibe? If you’re not into hard rock, you could try something non-rock but still upbeat like “I’ve Gotta Feeling” by the Black eyed peas.

I like both of those ideas.
@KT_Hime: Hmmm now I think I wanna use Faithfully for the pre-ceremony music!
@mrsbruff2b: I thought about Thunderstruck for our grand entrance! Maybe I will use it!

Hmmm…We used “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness for our entrance song haha. That’s honestly the only suggestion I have right now 😛

How is Chris Brown rock?
We entered our reception to Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue.

Please don’t use Chris Brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about The Cars “Just What I Needed”, “Hotel Yorba” or “Fell In Love With a Girl” by The White Stripes, “All I Need” AWOLNATION, “Say Hey(I Love You)” Michael Franti,

I’m having a punk-rock themed wedding. We’re also musicians in the same punk/ska band. Our recessional song is With Out You by Mad Caddies. That’s our song. Try Joey Ramones “what a wonderful world”.

This is my kind of post! I am also looking at various rock songs for our Bridal Party entrances and debating on a individual rockin’ songs for each member, or one song for the whole party. Any thoughts??
For ceremony, we’re skipping the traditional. Groomsmen/groom walking to “You Are So Beautiful”by Joe Cocker; BMs walking to the Adele version of “Make You Feel My Love”, and I’ll be meeting my groom at the end of the aisle with the Chris Cornell’s acoustic version of Led Zeppelin’s “Thank You.” Our recessional is “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”
Fiance and I are definitely being announced to “I was Made for Loving You”by Kiss, but are thinking of doing a quick medley of “Foxy Lady” “Comfortably Numb” “Shipping Up to Boston” and “Iron Man” right before we come out, as if the channels on the radio were being changed! 🙂

I think we’re going to use Thunderstruck for the grand entrance at the reception.
