I hate to give a bad review, but this is my personal experience. Honestly, I regret getting my ring from them. It’s a long story, but the craftsmanship is horrible and the sales people are all after commission. The ring I bought was not the ring I went home with. I complained a lot, but some how they managed to convince me my ring is fine every time. As much as I complained, if I were the sales associate, I would have just did refund. Now I’m stuck with a ring I’m not happy with. Darling Husband and I are actually getting one custome made to make sure it’s exactly what I want.

Please keep in my everyone’s experience differs and every store have different standards. But, this is just what happened to me, and I wouldn’t recommend any friends or family going there. I just thought I put my 2cents in.

@mrs_pudding_pop: LOL, I apologize for all the grammatical errors. I assme you understood the point I was trying to get across.

Sorry I was so upset I forgot to answer your question on their warranty. I haven’t done it yet, but from what I understood, they do redip for free. The warranty is suppose cover the ring you purchased from them, from all damages. The warranty is sure hefty and I wish we never purchased it, if I would’ve known we were only going to have this ring for such a short amount of time.

If you do end up going with R&H, I would encouraged you buying the warranty or a second party insurance. I will say, 2 stones have come out of my pave within 30days, and each time has been an error made by them. I understand this happens from resizing but what ticked me off the most was, why didn’t they do a thorough inspection before calling me to pick up the ring. This did not only happen once, but twice. They were embarrassed, but that’s really incovience and a waste of “me”, the costumers time. If my center stone wasn’t mounted in the setting, I would have taken my money and ran without looking back.

There are others things I’m not happy about, but I’ve already written a novel 🙂

Thought I should give you a different perspective.  We got our wedding rings there and we are thrilled beyond belief.  They have been fantastic with us.

When we first picked out my ring, I wasn’t happy with it, so I called the salesman. He told us to wait another week before returning it, because they were having a special diamond show then, and we’d be able to get a better deal because the owners would be there. And I’m so glad we did.

When we got there, we couldn’t find what I wanted, so the saleman was about to pull out a catalog, when a ring caught my eye in the case. It was perfect! It was nearly $1,000 more than my original ring, but the owner let us have it for just an additional $300.

We did get the protection plan on them, and that’s been worth it too. A few months ago, one the diamonds fell out of my husband’s ring. They replaced it at no cost, and you cannot even tell that a diamond was ever missing, which I was worried about because it is not easy to replace channel set diamonds without the gold looking like it’s been repaired.

Then, just this month, I took my wedding ring and my engagement ring into them to have them resized from a size 7 and size 6 down to a size 5 1/4.  Again, I was worried, because my rings have 46 channel set diamonds.  Another jeweler had told me that my rings would have to be oval shaped because of the channel setting.  Rogers and Hollands didn’t say that, and I was completely surprised and pleased when my rings came back perfectly round.

My rings look perfect. All the channel set diamonds are completely secure, not even one loose one. My rings seriously look as though they came right out of the diamond case.

I am so impressed with the workmanship that they’ve done on my rings and on my husband’s ring.  I would highly recommend them every day of the week.

By The Way, we went to the Rogers and Hollands in Grandville, Mi, at the Rivertown Crossing Mall.

@mrs_pudding_pop:  We’re in the same situation with R&H being 40 minutes away.  However, I think I’ll drive to take my rings there for service rather than going to our local jeweler, simply because I haven’t been particularly happy with the work our local jeweler has done. But I’ve been absolutely thrilled with R&H.

I just purchased..or should say..Darling Husband just purchased a right hand ring for me from them. I had gone in first just window shopping…the salesperson I worked with was wonderful..she wasn’t pushy at all…usually that’s enough for me to just walk out, if I feel pressured to buy. I fell in love with a ring and showed Darling Husband…even when he came into the store with me…no pressure at all.  Dh ended up going back to buy it for me..so far I haven’t had any problems with it, but have only had it about 2 weeks. Reading the negative reviews though get’s me worried. 🙁
