I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I seriously wasn’t sure so I am throwing it out there. My Darling Husband and I are TTC and we have planned a trip to Orlando in March and plan to hit the theme parks for 2 days before visiting with his parents. I have heard that you shouldn’t ride roller coasters when you’re pregnat but I didn’t know if this was after a certain time frame, ie: 10 weeks or at all. Thanks for the input!!!

Well it’s official, we’re due in September! So now if any Bees do have advice on rollercoasters I would appreciate it! My first OB appt isn’t until late January so I haven’t had a chance to ask. Thanks for the advice!

Congrats! But please don’t ride roller coasters. There are lots of signs that will tell you not to, and I can’t imagine they’re telling you for fun.

Congratulations on another fall baby around here!
I have heard others avoiding roller coasters throughout their entire pregnancy. I have not specifically asked my OB this but I personally wouldn’t do it.
I guess another question for your OB might be what kind of rides you can ride. There are plenty of rides in Orlando that aren’t roller coasters but still drop, swirl, etc.

@puppylove: Congrats Puppy Love. Sounds like we are on the same track (my due date is early Sept. also!) So it looks like you will be entering second trimester in March when you are planning your trip. I am guessing by this point it is probably a no-no but of course it is probably best to discuss it with your dr. My husband and I have also been dreaming of an Orlando trip. When we saw those two little lines on the pregnancy test we realized we probably wont be making that trip for another 5 years or so! Good luck!
