I’m a Wedding Bee virgin but am in deseprate need of help and I’m hoping to get some advice!
I’m getting married in August 2012 in a converted barn and would like a soft floaty romantic dress but not too puffy, I would also like a sweetheart neckline (although not the end of the world if not as I can get it altered), and lace on the bottom so that it does not look too plain.
I have tried on countless dresses and really like about 10 including the Pronovias Alcanar and Pergola, Augusta Jones Juno and Alfred Angelo 867 but I am still to find one that I love 100%. The main problem seems to be that I like the top or bottom of a dress but not both.
I am very keen on the Pronovias Alcanar however wish that the lace applique went all the way down to the bottom of the dress rather than ending half way down the legs.
Does anybody know if there is a dress out there which is similar to this but has lace applique all of the way down? I also like the Pergola but worry that the bottom of the dress is a bit similar to a doillie.
I am driving my family crazy looking at so many dresses but I need to be sure before I try to purchase next month.
Can anyone out there help me???

Really pretty dress! I was going to suggest Watters Devenport but I just looked and it does something similar towards the bottom of the dress. It is a beautiful dress though, so still worth checking out.
San Patrick also has some pretty fabulous lace dresses – I really like Raidis (I think the top of that one is to die for) and Rama from his 2012 Glamour collection and Clara from his 2011 collection.

Thanks for both ideas, I do really like these San Patrick gowns but unfortunately do not have anywhere near me that sells them and I would like to try on first before purchasing.
The Enzoani Cambridge is gorgeous but I would like a natural waist that flares out a little bit rather than fitted – so ideally I need this dress but floaty!!

I’m getting the pronovias pergola. I didn’t see the “doile” aspect in person. I love it! 🙂
Good luck! 🙂
I posted pics of me in it on this thread:

Have you tried the two by rosa clara line? I was in love with the cima dress but ended up going with belga from the 2010 collection because it had a fuller skirt. If you can find someone who carries it in your area there are many lace dress options. I love the regular rosa clara line too but it was out of my price range.
The enzoani fatima dress also looks similar to the style you are looking for http://www.enzoani.com/2011.html or the darba from the blue by enzoani (this is their cheaper line from what I understand) http://www.bluebyenzoani.com/main.html

@OoOTifsterOoO: Thanks for the pics, the Pergola does look gorgeous, I think I was unsure as it wasn’t the original style of lace I had imagined but it is growing on me more everyday. I’ve got 4 weeks to decide but this is definitely in my top 5!

Thanks for the ideas, I’d never heard of the Rosa Clara brand but will have a look at them now.

@blondie4 did you ever find a dress? I have an Alvina Valenta 9517 for sale. It has lace bodice; natural waist; wide lace at the bottom of skirt, around the train.
If you are interested, I will send you pics. It is a size 10.
