Hi,

If anyone is interested, I am trying to sell a brand new Romona Keveza Legends L196 in ivory for $2,000.  I purchased it for my wedding in October, but I decided it was too antique looking for my more modern theme. It is gorgeous in great condition with tags, size 10. If you’re interested please contact me and I can send more pics or if you are local you are welcome to come look at it.

Thanks!

Kim

Went for my first ‘official’ fitting this past Saturday and realized that the dress did absolutely nothing for me so….fast forward to 4 days later, 6 wedding shops and dozens of dresses, all leading up to walking in to a boutique this evening and purchasing a Romona Keveza L195 gown.  I have to say that I LOVE this dress and after explaining what had occurred this past weekend, the sales associate discounted the dress from 3490.00 to 2300.00.  I cannot be happier to know that I am walking down the aisle in this dress on October 8th!  The only thing that needs to be altered is the hemline – everything else fits like a glove!  After reading everyone’s posts, I think I lucked out that the sales associate was willing to let me purchase this one off the rack and order the store another for future brides.

The only thing that I plan on changing is that I’ll be wearing a swarovski beaded belt instead of ribbon to add a little pop.

Ooo yay a Romona Keveza thread! I can show off my dress more 🙂  My dress retailed for $5,000 but I got it for $508 including tax and shipping 🙂 Hell yes! lol. Its style #31503 and it has been my dream dress since I saw it on Say Yes to the Dress Atalanta 🙂 I got lucky to find the sample for almost nothing! It’s a little too small right now so I don’t have any pics of me but here is the model pic and then a pic of a real bride I found online who just sold hers.

Just bought my dress this past weekend and super excited about it! if you’re still on the fence i give two enthusiastic thumbs up…the bodice is really well made and fits the body like a glove (even just pinned), and the fabric is super soft. it’s a bit on the higher end of the Legends line (~4000) but i think worth it.

Wyndaengel, I LOVE the dress!  What fabric is it?  Is it Romona’s French net?

I must’ve tried on 50+ gowns. But when I tried on the Romona Keveza L237, I knew it was THE ONE!  I loved the lace, the inner fabric, and the soft, romantic, understated elegance.

Here are pics! It’s the L237 – a V-neck gown made of re-embroidered lace. Features a fitted bodice with a flowing, fluted shaped skirt.  I bought Ivory lace with Ivory underlay.  But Ivory lace, with Natural white underlay is also available.

Retail is $3,290.  I was told all of the Legends gowns are either $3,290 or $3,990.
The best part about buying my dress in Minneapolis was that there is NO SALES TAX in Minnesota! WOO!(dress shop is L’atelier Couture bridal).

@2BromptonRoad:  I got my Romona Keveza (L216) at L’atelier Couture too! I bought it during a trunk show, so it was $2821, original price $3135. Was your sample ivory over natural white? Thats what mine was, and what I ordered (they told me it was the “whitest” combination, I don’t like how I look as much in ivory), but your sample looks so much whiter than mine did! Maybe it was the lighting? Or a different color combo?

Here are some pics of mine:

I just bought a Ramona Keveza Legends dress for my wedding next year.  No pictures yet but it’s the same dress as wyndaengel above.  I bought an almost brand new sample from a little shop in Syracuse.  It was by chance I walked into the shop expecting nothing and I saw this dress for 50% off because they are unloading their stock to make changes to the store. $1795 after all was said and done. Great deal, great dress.

I wore the Romona Keveza L196 at my very modern wedding in June 2011. It really depends on how you style it. LOVE the dress and plan to wear it again for something, someday! =)
