- Wedding: August 2012
Hi bees! I am still working to finalize the wedding ceremony and was thinking of including the rose ceremony that goes towards the end of the ceremony (the format where you exchange single roses are you first gift to each other as husband and wife)… I read that this goes at the end of the ceremony after the couple is pronounced husband & wife but this doesn’t seem to flow well to me and I can’t find a video online that demonstrates this. To me, once you are pronounced husband & wife (“you may now kiss the ride”) it feels over, as in, everyone will clap etc. – how on earth do you add in this rose ceremony piece?
Have any of you done this successfully (or been to a wedding where it was done)? Or maybe my understanding of where it goes in the ceremony is wrong? Any thoughts are appreciated – thanks!!!
