busybee3791:  i think it depends what shade/color you are going for? more coppery or a softer rose color. plus 18k is obviously more pure – so if that matters to you, you should take that into consideration.

Would it matter if the e-ring is 18k and the band 14k? Or would one wear down the other?

I prefer 14k color however my ring has a lot of the smaller diamonds so I am not able to see much of the rose gold as I would like. I hope to get a solid rose gold band 🙂 I just love rose gold! Buying earings soon.
