I think rose gold would work, especially on the ivory on light gold (def not ivory on ivory). But I think a slim/dainty belt as opposed to something chunky. Do you have a belt in mind?

Rose gold jewelry would be fine, but the way the back is cut, a belt would ruin the look of the back unless you’re doing a 2/3 belt attached to the front/sides only. Is that the plan?  Gorgeous dress btw.

I think it would look lovely from the front but don’t see how it would work from the back?

I think rose gold jewelry would be great with the dress but I don’t see how a belt could be added on without a very obvious cut off point at the sides/back. I would also skip the belt to avoid cutting off that pretty lace.

The widest part of the bottom cutout is where the natural waist falls on that dress (at least that’s what it appears to be trying to match up the two angles).  So if the belt went all the way around, there’s going to be a gap of skin between where the belt falls and the top of the bottom portion of the dress where the buttons start and it will look…silly.  So the only way to avoid that is not have a belt go all the way around your waist and sew embellishments directly onto the dress, stopping when you get to the cutout and I think that would probably look very abrupt and a bit odd.  It could work, but I would skip it.

coleybell :   honestly it’s such an elegant dress that a rhinestone belt is going to look tacky. The dainty pearl one you posted is the only one I would even consider. But again, it doesn’t need one ๐Ÿ™‚

coleybell :  gorgeous dress, but a belt makes no sense. Honestly, I think I belt tends to ruin sheath dresses 95% of the time – either you have the curves to pull of the silhouette, or you don’t. A belt isn’t going to magically give you a waist you don’t have. The few dresses I usually think belts look nice on are ballgowns, where there is a clear distinction between the bodice and skirt already.

I am so in love with the rose gold belt! It looks pretty! But I don’t think it is going to work with the style of the wedding dress you have! Your dress looks amazing as it is ๐Ÿ™‚ You can just go for rose gold earrings, necklace or bracelet ๐Ÿ™‚
