IzzyBear:  I just saw you had responded! Thank you for all the information you provided. I actually just found out the my jeweler will happily custom make that style for 600$. Is yours a full eternity? I’m also curious, what made you go for rose gold rather than white gold? I tried it on in both and I’m toying with which to get. I love both rose and white metals equally but the rose gold did lend itself well with my white gold ering.

Strawberryshmoo:  mine is half. I didn’t want a full eternity because I didn’t want to worry about the diamonds and stuff on the bottom getting messed up. Mine is sized perfectly so it doesn’t spin or anything. I choose rose gold instead if white gold because I love rose gold. My Fiance didn’t think it looked “bridal” enough as an engagement ring or something silly so I got white gold for that and decided id just get rose gold for my wedding band. I actually really love the 2 metals together and from the large amount of compliments I get, so do a lot of people. It just really added some character to my set.

majorairhead:  I would say every 4-6 months. The jeweller told me 6 months but I think their plating was pretty thin compared to other plated jewelry I own. I can see a bit of the white gold after four months so I’m getting it plated again. I own a rose gold plated necklace that I’ve had for a year and it has no signs of rubbing off.

My love affair with rose gold started with a few LeVian rings that I had bought myself – I told the husband that my only perequistes for my engagement ring was diamond and rose gold.

I totally vote vote rose gold! I love it so much and am sooo thrilled I didn’t let anyone talk us out of it!
