Fiance and I are looking in to resetting my current e-ring however I’ve started to toy with the idea of rose gold. I’ve always been a platinum/white gold girl and never pictured myself with anything different. We’ve currently been talking about palladium for my new setting. However, I recently had a rose gold watch and thought the color was stunning. Pink is my all time favorite color and thought it may be a fun way to tie that in to my wedding set. However, I’m a bit nervous that it’s “trendy” now and in 10 years I wouldn’t love it and would want to go back to palladium. Anyone have a rose gold ring that they love? Pictures of your rose gold would be great! I have a 1.5 round brilliant amora moissy that will be set! Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m in LOVE with rose gold! I never would have considered it if I hadn’t seen it when my friend and I went to check out engagement rings for her. She has very fair, ivory-pink skin and it is GORGEOUS. I also saw a server at a restaurant wearing a rose gold watch and she was very golden tan colored. I don’t think it looks bad on anyone!
I have 14k white gold, but really want a rose gold RHR.

I really like rose gold, but I wouldn’t want it for wedding jewelry personally.

Rose gold is just gorgeous!

rose gold is lovely, but definitely think about it for the long run. I think its a bit of a fad right now as i’ve never seen rose gold before. Its gorgeous but make sure you aren’t just going through a stage where you love it and in a year you will wish you had white gold.

Mine is rose and I get so many compliments. One thing to remember is that it is an alloy which is a mix of metals. This means you can get a different shade from the very pink toned watch. Here is mine

My wedding band is rose gold, sandwiched between my plat engagement ring, and another plat pave band. It has become trendy as of lately, but, it’s nothing new. My mom has been wearing stack rings with white, rose, and yellow gold since the 80’s. If you love it, wear it. Here’s a pic of my band for reference.

I tend to believe you should wear what you love and feel good wearing, and not worry about whether or not it is a trend.
Rose gold is not a new thing, it just has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity lately. If you love it, then that won’t change even if the trend passes.
I wear yellow gold (my rings are 18k yellow), and I don’t care that it’s not trendy right now, or that I have heard comments about yellow gold being “so 80’s” or tacky (yes, tacky) or whatever as I just am so drawn to warm, buttery yellow gold and it looks great on me – I am a very pale redhead with warm undertones and white (cool) metals just look horrible on me…they wash me out and make me look really cold! They do nothing for me! Rose gold gets a bit washed out ON me but I think it is beautiful (especially 18k) and still have a couple rose gold rings.
And, hey, if in ten years you do change your mind, is a reset totally out of the question? I think it could be a great anniversary gift if you wanted!

I think rose gold is very pretty but I don’t think I’d want it for myself. I like how the silver tones of platinum or white gold go with everything really well.

My e-ring and wedding band are rose gold. I love it! Here’s a pic for you.

I don’t care for it as wedding jewelry either. I also think it’ll end up a trend. As a right hand ring, I’m all for it. It’s beautiful.

My poll option isn’t there.
I don’t have it, and while I don’t want it, I think it’s a lovely type of gold. I just prefer white golds.

I personally think people worry too much about things being trendy. It’s a gold color, it’s not a new one, and all three main gold colors go in and out of style. Get what you like now, and if eventually you don’t like it, change it. I don’t understand why people act like gold color is something that can’t be changed at all, and you’re ‘stuck’ with your first choice for ever and ever.
Having said that, I wear all three gold colors, depending on how I’m feeling. I like all three for different reasons. And I love rose because it can be a whole bunch of shades due to the copper content.

I love rose gold! i have a diamond rose gold right hand ring. But I wouldn’t want one for an engagement ring, white gold and colorless stones are classic and go with everything.

I don’t have rose gold and I’m of two minds about it. Partly because I never cared about jewelry before looking for a wedding band, I feel like it’s very trendy right now (is it really though? I suspect it’s more my impression, but I’ve never actually seen it in real life…). So part of me worries that perhaps if I had it as a wedding band, I would end up wishing I had something silver-coloured. But I also think it’s rather lovely, especially when it’s with a pinkish coloured stone. So pretty!
