Do you like this set better in rose gold or white gold? Vote for your choice and tell me why!
The engagement ring is peridot and the band has diamonds. Please excuse my lazy Photoshopping.
Thanks for your opinions, and feel free to post pics of your own sparklies!

Initially I was going to vote WG but I changed my mind. I think the peridot look more like an ering in the RG. Both are equally stunning but I’m going with the warmer look of the RG.
Hope that helps.

I’ve always been keen on rose gold so I think the rose set is to die for! I think the unique stone and setting (is that a ‘knot’ I see!?) really lend themselves well to the uniqueness of rose gold, it seems most erings these days are white Gold or similar.

Since you’re going for an untraditional stone and design, I would go for the more traditional white gold. I think it makes it look more like an e-ring. Beautiful!

I prefer the rose gold. Is the peridot really that yellow? Most of the peridot I’ve seen is more like a lime green, which I think would contrast nicely with the rose gold.

I prefer the white gold. The green/yellowish just doesnt look that great with rose gold, imo.

@kakers: Yes! It’s the Hercules Knot design from Gemvara 🙂
It’s hard to say.
It’s an online jewelry company, and all the pics are digitally-rendered images rather than actual photos. I know peridot can vary in color, but the peridot jewelry I have (although not from the same company) is more of a lime green like you mentioned.

depending on the ‘greenness’ of your peridot I can understand why some would prefer white gold… I still think the peridot and rose look amazing together!
Althought neither are mine, I’d definitely say yes to either!

@kakers: I do like that bottom one. Probably cause its definitely a greeny green peridot instead of yellowish.
If you could guarantee that the peridot would be a vivid green then I’d say you could go either way.

I am going to say rose gold. The combo with the peridot and white gold makes me think more of a r-hand ring in sterling silver.. rather than an e-ring.
Rose gold and peridot is nice.

Rose gold all the ay-but I’m biased because my e ring is rose gold 😛

@kakers: Drooling over that second ring!

Voted for rose. I think the rose gold one looks significantly more expensive, if that matters! 🙂

LOVE the rose! The warmth looks so nice paired with that green, and the white seems like too much contrast for some reason.
