quixoticallyours :Β  Thank you! It’s funny because I initally tried on rings this summer when I had a pretty good tan and I loved how the rose gold almost faded into my skin which made the stones pop. To me, white stones can get lost in white metals. It’s definitely a tough decision!Β

I have a moissanite with rose gold antique reproduction from moissaniteCo. It’s a gorgeous ring. It’s a Forever Brilliant stone (should be GHI) colour, but compared to my F coloured diamond it looks the same. I’ll try to get a photo for you. It’s not working well right now.Β

quixoticallyours :Β  here you go:

the stone is much whiter than I expected it to be. I haven’t seen any colour in the stone at all from the rose gold.Β

Rose gold!

I have a plantinum e-ring and a solid 14kt rose gold wedding band. I get a lot of compliments on the rose gold itself and the fact that I’m mixy-matchy πŸ™‚

quixoticallyours :  The rose gold complements your warm undertones really well, whereas the white gold looks stark against your skin tone. The theory behind skin undertones is that different undertones look better with different colors (warm undertones with yellow gold and cool undertones with white gold). I’m certainly not saying that you can’t or shouldn’t wear white gold, but I think that the rose gold hits a great balance on you.
