I’ve been wearing my rose gold solitaire for three years and although I’ve considered white metals, I still love my ring! Rose gold also complements white and yellow metal if you are considering a different wedding band color.  I’ve noticed a few of my friends choosing rose and yellow gold solitaires this year. If you are really drawn to rose gold, I would go for it. It’s fabulous and flatters many skin tones.

softersounds :  I was also afraid of it being too trendy, but chose it anyway and never regretted it! I get a ton of compliments on my ring. You’re the one who has to wear it everyday, might as well get what you love. Here’s my rose gold morganite:

softersounds :  Hi, I have a rose gold ring e-ring and recently got the rg bands (wedding is in 28 days). When I was originally looking into it I was told that it’s just a “trend” and white gold is more classic. I think both metals are beautiful but I wanted rose gold and that is what I got and have not regretted it at all. I preferred a super thin band as well (I went halo where as you would prefer solitaire) and I have not regretted it. I occasionally wonder how my ring would look in white gold but never regret my little bauble. Here is my preciooussss with bands:

At the end of the day as PP said, get what YOU like. You have to wear it! xo

I told my now fiance just once shortly after we started dating what I wanted and remembered to a T. That was a year and 11 months ago and we just got engaged in April ❤ Rose gold, .33 center stone and E color diamond 😊

I didn’t choose rose gold because it was “trendy” I chose it because it looks best against my skin… Here is my 14k rose gold set20170322_142753

softersounds :  my engagement ring is rose gold. I always loved rose gold, especially since I am half Greek and I have olive skin. I think I suits my skin tone and my mother always wore it and I came to love it early on. I never regret having gotten a rose gold engagement ring, my wedding band will be too, and I wear rose gold accessories often!

Gorgeoussss rings on this post ladies!

I really wanted rose gold but was afraid it was too trendy. My mom told me that anything that was popular when she got married 30 years ago couldn’t possibly be a trend 😉

She also told me that I didn’t want to be looking down at my ring thinking “what a practical and safe choice I’ve made” but rather “I’m obsessed with this ring and am glad I took a chance on it because it’s so me.” So that’s what I went for and I have no regrets!

Also, when I tried rings on the white gold looked horrible on my finger and the rose gold looked great. So definitely try some on

Here’s my rose gold solitaire, although the colors look more cool in this picture than they really are:

I go with rose gold for both my ering and wedding band. It looks better on my olive skin compared to white or yellow gold. I was also scared that it will be too trendy but Fiance said that his grandma’s band was also rose gold, bought during WWII. So i think its not just ‘in the moment’ kind of trend. 🙂

I went with a rose and white gold one. I don’t wear yellow gold, so the mixed metals match any jewelry I wear. I think it’s kinda trendy now, but it isn’t something that’s too out there. I’ve loved rose gold for as long as I can remember. Mine is white gold on every part that has diamonds, so I did end up going with a white gold wedding band because I wanted more diamonds.

kc1014 :  I really like the way you did the mixed metals with the pave. I think I do prefer the look of pave on white gold because it looks more like one continuous sparkly diamond. I want a pave wedding band but have been nervous about going white gold when my e ring is so obviously rose gold…  decisions decisions

My fiancé was worried when we looked at rose gold rings for the same reason. He didn’t want it to be “too trendy” and have me regretting it. I’ve always chosen rose gold jewelry and it compliments my skin tone so I never thought twice. Many years from now, this ring will represent who we were when we got engaged and for that reason I don’t mind if people call it “trendy” or “too right now”. I could never regret this perfect sparkle!!!!
