I am apparently sharing the heck out of my rose gold ring lately. It really doesn’t look very pink at all in real life, just gently rosy. The tone is so nice against my skin — better than yellow gold and totally different from white metals.

@lilybug9: I’ve never seen gold so pink in real life as in stock photos. I think you can safely get a rose gold e-ring/ wedding ring. I’m considering a rose gold wedding band.

I like it! It comes in different tones. I like it when it is warm and just barely blushing pink, almost like a rich yellow gold.
To me, the most beautiful metal is rich yellow gold, a naturally very luxurious colored metal that has been used for precious objects and art since extremely ancient times…
Rose gold, to me, has a very close feeling to this as well, and kind of looks like yellow gold with a patina, while white gold looks similar to steel to me (utilitarian) and platinum’s grayish hue reminds me of lead. White metals don’t have a luxurious feeling to me, but warm metals do 🙂

we combined the center stone of a neil lane ring that was on clearance with an inexpensive rose gold setting and ended up with this: i absolutely loveeeee it! lol the second pic is the 2 seperate rings before

This is a stainless steel ring with 14k rose gold plating.
The lighting makes it tough to tell, but compared to silver metals, it’s really flattering on the skin. I would describe the color as more copper than pink. I love the color and would love to get a real rose gold ring at some point. For what it’s worth, my husband, who hates pink, loves the color – he likes how copper it looks.

I love rose gold! I have super pale red-head skin, and I really like how it looks on me – not that white or yellow gold look bad, but rose gold is just so pretty 🙂
It does not look super pink in real life (at least mine), more of a coppery yellow..
