The band and the prongs are white gold, the swirls are rose gold ๐Ÿ™‚

I vote rose gold!

I think it has a lot to do with skin tone! I know I look way better in rose gold than white gold, so mine will be a rose gold band with white prongs to keep the stone looking white.

Do you mean silver, as in sterling, or a silver colored metal? I was prosed to with a white gold engagement ring, bit for several reasons i am having my stone set into a custom platinum setting. I would like to pair it with a rose gold band. I don’t have photos of my new ring yet, but here is my old one.

skinnick:  Thanks! I figured as much, but I thought you might be including all silver colored metals.

skinnick: I loveee rose gold but felt it didnt suit me as well as white gold. It may be because white gold is really all I am really use to wearing so that is what I ended up with in the long run xD

Here’s my rose gold solitaire and my golden ๐Ÿ™‚ I love it so much and have not regretted it at all! Don’t have a good pic of it on my hand but I feel it complements my skin tone well (I’m like a medium brown.)

desertgypsy:  I agree with this! Depends on your skintone a lot. I’m Asian with really pale, burn so bad skin and my original e ring was in white gold. It was beautiful and etc but my Darling Husband when trying on wedding bands found that on his darker more yellow toned Asian skin rose gold looks the best. I got my ring reset to rose gold and I love it! It goes super well with warm-er toned skins. Also, think it depends on what you love, I love white gold/silver colored jewelry but I tried rose gold and like that better for now! You can also always get it reset ๐Ÿ™‚

My ring has a little of both but you have to look closely to see it. My ering is a band though so no big sparkly to be the focus. It looks yellow, but it is rose and white gold.
