Go to a jewelry store and try on a plain white band and a plain rose gold band and see how they look with your skin tone. Bonus points if you can take pictures and post them here for us to see! Honestly, you cant go wrong with either which makes the decision hard!

You should try each color to see how they look against your skin. Rose gold is my favorite metal, but I’d probably prefer white gold for this ring.

I agree with the others, try both white and rose on and see which one complements your skin tone. I know white gold is popular and everyone prefers white, but it turned out that I preferred wearing a different tone when I went to the jewelry store.

I agree with the others, maybe you’ll even prefer it in yellow gold! I think the rose will make the details stand out more though, so i voted rose.

Thanks everyone! Will the stone pick up the pink hues from the rose gold?

Have you thought about what color wedding band you may want? I suggest not only trying different colored engagement rings, but also trying different wedding bands to see what works best for you.

definitely try on rose and white gold in person somewhere. I like the look of rose gold, but it brings out the pink tones in my skin and makes me look pinky-orange somehow lol, not great

Thank you for all your opinions! I decided to get the rose gold and I made some changes to the ring! I can’t wait to see the CAD and then get my ring!
