I have a 1.5 c diamond with pave band (no halo) and my finger size is 4.5.

I like the size without a halo, I think with a halo it would be really ‘in your face’ large on my finger:

Sorry, just saw you said round. Mine is obviously not round (and I obviously lack reading comprehension).

A round stone would face up even larger than the cushion I have as rounds tend to be a bit shallower than cushions.

If you don’t want as much attention, I’d consider getting something even smaller. My ring gets a ton of attention, which is at times uncomfortable.

Mine isn’t exactly what you asked for, but I have a .75 moissanite halo on a 5.75 finger:

I don’t have a halo, but I do have a 1.5ct on a size 5 finger!! It’s a moissy!

Mine isn’t round, it’s cushion cut. It’s 1.01 carat.

Edit: oops! I just realized you said size 4-5. Mine is 6…

@HelleCat:  I totally agree! 🙂 I think if you’re going with a halo, 1ct or 1.25 might be just right since halos add so much finger coverage. I can’t wait to see your ring!

@HelleCat:  Thanks! It’s actually a cushion cut.

Here is my ring. 1.2 round center, with a blooming halo, size 4.75.  I absolutely love it.
