Hey fellow RH Brides,
I’d love to hear what you picked for your entree choices for your sit-down dinner. We were set on the filet mignon but at $15 extra a pop we might need to replace that option. what did your guest have and love – espec in the beef category?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

I was in the same boat, until I heard the upgrade charge for the filet! We sampled the Medallions of Beef with Cabernet Sauce at a tasting a while ago and thought it was delicious – and definitely worth saving $15 per person! We have another tasting scheduled with our parents, so I’ll let you know if there’s anything else to report! 🙂
Our wedding is at the end of May, so can’t say what guests will like.

we ended up going with the beef medallions. we didnt remember tasting day at the bridal day but they’ll be preparing in the same mushroom/port glaze they filet was in which was out of this world.
let me know how your second tasting goes!

i got married there last july and our entree options were the medallions of beef with the cabernet sauce, which we too sampled at Brides Day. we wanted to go with the ribeye, which was a reasonable upcharge at the time, but just before we could make our selection, we were told it was being taken off the menu 🙁 otherwise, we also picked the rainbow trout w/champagne & leek sauce, which was a total shot in the dark and was not great at all (in my humble opinion – i was not expecting it to be a heavily cream-based sauce and did not hold well once cold), and then we went with the penne provence for our vegetarians, which i heard was good. i think if you’re unsure, push them to give you a lot of details about how things are prepared and served! good luck & engjoy!
