My husband and I have been married for 7 years this past November, 8 years on November 5 of this year and we never had the proper wedding or honeymoon so for our anniversary this year, my husband is deciding to take me on a romantic trip for our very late honeymoon since we can afford it and wants me to be able to have the ring he was never able to truly afford as well. We are looking at a 2.5-3ct round solitaire to replace my 1ct cz we bought last minute. I also love the radiant cut but not sure on carat size. My ring size is a 4.5 and I prefer solitaire without any side stones, I am pretty plain Jane about this kind of thing as I have a full eternity wedding band that more than makes up. Can I see your round or radiant solitaires between 2.5-3ct or larger

if you want something classic, go with the round! I love my round Moissy 😊 Mine is only 2 carat tho.

I fell in love with radiants! I also love the timeless design of a solitaire. This combination is my ideal, since I am “classic with a twist” and they balance each other. Enjoy your search, both options will look great I am sure. Can’t wait to see the pics!

I love radiant solitaires! I think that would be a lovely choice.
I definitely think you guys should make it to a jewellery store and make sure you like it on you though. I like alot of gorgeous things on other people and get sad when I realise it doesn’t work for me. It might also help you figure out what your sweet size is compared to your budget.

ROUND HERE!! Love Rounds Classic!

I vote radiant! I have a 2.01 radiant that has the dimensions of a 2.4-2.5 and my finger is a 7 so I wont post. But I get so many compliments on mine about how unique and different it is yet still being simple.

Hello Bee!I have a similar history than you
.I am married from 22 years now on September and when we married my husband bought me a nice 0,25 diamond as engagement ring.I liked it but it wasn’t my dream ring, I love larger stones, and he told me that one day he will offer me the diamond of my dreams….So for our 20th marriage anniversary….I had it❤️!!!I posted mine many times but I think that it can helps, because I’m 4,5 ring size and my diamond is 2.70 carat, plain round brilliant,as you asked.

I vote round brilliant as well – they have the most sparkle and have such lovely finger coverage 🙂 I think it would look amazing paired with eternity band. I wear a size 7 and have a 8.14mm round with a five-stone wedding band and I think it’s classic and timeless. Good luck and post what you end up with 🙂
