I love the look of rectangular tables but I think it only works with a larger guest count. We are having a similar guest count and are doing round tables to fill more space.

I like the round tables and then the long table for wedding party. The rectangle tables make it difficult to socialize. That’s just me though… even though I love how they look!

I actually think the rectangular tables make it easier to socialize! I always find the round tables are too wide so I have to shout across if I want to talk to anybody, whereas it is pretty easy to speak both to those next to me and across from me at a rectangular table. Why do you guys think it makes it harder?

I do think the round tables look nice in your venue, though.

Round tables are good for guests as they can chat with each other in groups rather than only to the people either side of them. Although I guess if there were a lot of guests flying solo than a large rectangle table kind of makes sure everyone is included.

Both look nice, but I feel the round tables are better for getting up and mingling.
