I inherited a diamond tennis bracelet that has 24 round diamonds in it. Since I won’t wear it as a bracelet, I want to take the stones and make ring(s) out of them. Since there are 24 I was thinking of making 3 rings with 8 stones, or 4 with 6, to give to future daughters, daughters-in-law, or granddaughters. Problem is, I don’t know what setting to use.
So, I’m looking for pictures of people with round stone bands. Bezel, shared prong, pave, you name it. Let’s see them!

As far as bands, here are the basic types you listed:

i have a semi bezel which i prefer over a full bezel setting
or you can do a bar setting
or a channel setting
or you can do something set into the ring like these

Omg I would kill to inherit a tennis bracelet!!!!!
Anywho if you want to split it you could maybe do some cluster earrings as well and a broch aside from making a ring.

Thanks everybody! I’m thinking right now I’ll go with basic bezel. If these rings are going to be for my future children and grandchildren I want to make sure the setting is sturdy, and the stones can’t fall out, until they can put the stones in a setting they love.
When I get around to doing it, I’ll make sure to post before and after pictures!

what a great idea. I think it would be sweet to do several ring that are near eternity rings (allowing space for sizing) and pass each one down to match the women in the family.
I wished I had kept my diamonds when trading in my gold last yr. basically just gave em away since they only buying gold anyway :/ makes me so mad I didnt do what you are doing.
