So I’m getting chairs like these for the ceremony: http://www.premierpartyrentals.com/products/chairs-folding-plastic-white.htm
The plastic kind with a rounded back.
I want to do a chair decoration incorporating either flowers or paper lanterns. If I do paper lanterns, it would be like this often-admired photo: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/04/25/as-we-walk-down-the-aisle-together/
And if I do flowers, I would do something inspired like this: http://pics.boards.weddingbee.com/9977.30012.jpg (thanks, alieliza, for the upload!)
Problem: All of those chairs have more of a square profile, which makes it easier to attach things. Any ideas for something similar on rounded chairs? How to attach, etc.

You could attach the laterns or flowers lower- where the seat meets the pole for the backrest.
Is your ceremony outside? If so, have you considered shepards hooks?

i think if you use twist ties or something secure, yr decorations should be able to stay where you want them to?

I like the idea of attaching something lower on the chair where the backrest bar meets the seat, for the chairs along the aisle. Maybe a big flower or bow?

Our wedding is outdoors, but on a deck-type structure (the roof of a building), so it wouldn’t be easy to sink shepherd’s hooks in.
But I like the idea of attaching lower down on the side with twist ties or something like that. Such a simple solution. Thanks, ladies!
