I thought that the wedding dress isn’t my personal style, but it looked PERFECT on Duchess Meghan and completely like her style. She is not a flashy person, and her style reflects that. So I thought it was perfect for her.

Tbh, I’m not sure what people are on about. Her dress is remniscent of Infanta Cristina of Spain’s gown and Princess Mary of Denmark’s. It seems like this style of plain boat-neck gown is not uncommon for royals to wear. Sure it’s not the most flashy gown, but it’s a classic, timeless look–and that’s obviously what she was going for. In all honesty, a more opulent gown would just not have gone with the large, gorgeous veil that she had.

sumshine.dawn :  You can write a letter or card to her! Just don’t send a package, since that presents serious security concerns for the royal family.

Go here: https://www.royal.uk/contact

If you click on “Contacting Other Members of the Royal Family” you can use the address for Prince Harry and change the name to either “The Duchess of Sussex” if you want to write to Meghan or “The Duke and Duchess of  Sussex” if you want to write to both Harry and Meghan. And if you are outside of the UK, make sure to put United Kingdom on the bottom of the address and put an international stamp on it.

It seems that Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate), and the Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla) all receive mail at the same place. I expect the Duchess of Sussex (Meghan) to receive mail there too. So using that address listed for Prince Harry with The Duchess of Sussex should be correct, they haven’t updated the website yet.

I loved everything about the wedding, from how in love they looked to all of the details! I loved the simple elegance of her dress. To those complaining that the ceremony dress was too loose, I am certain that that was how it was supposed to fit. It’s a sleek, elegant, modern version of a classic style, and I’m sure that the seamstressses at Givenchy fitted her dress right up until the moment she was supposed to leave.

Yes, the ceremony dress was a conservative style, but you know what? It’s beautiful in its elegant simplicity. Sure, it may not be what you would want for yourself or what you are wowed by, but who asked you? Every bride has to pick a dress that is best for HERSELF. All that matters is that she loved the dress and looked beautiful in it, and she did!

I have to say, I was floored by the amazingness of the reception dress. Meghan and Harry looked AMAZING.

franklymydearidont :  I didn’t know I could write to them! I’m new to this “Royal watching” thing, but I’ve been such a huge fan of Meghan’s for so long (Duchess of Sussex now!), and I feel like fan mail can only help make them feel good. Thanks for the info!

I didn’t watch, but I’ve seen a million pictures. I didn’t love the dress. Like others on here I don’t think it fit her quite right. Veil and tiara were stunning though!

I thought it was lovely. And ultimately, it doesn’t matter what I thought. She doesn’t know me. She was happy, and so was he. That’s what matters.

I have revised my opinion on her dress after the offical pictures were put out. It looks gorgeous in the ones that aren’t awkwardly snapped from weird angles by all the random press photographers.
