RobbieAndJuliahaha :  I liked the dress and I’m in the minority with that. Surprised she went with Givenchy though.

RobbieAndJuliahaha :

That’s exactly it, it isn’t awful, underwhelmed is a good way to describe how I feel about it. She did look gorgeous though

mrl201020 :   I thought the dress was illfitting too, I just kept staring at the top the whole time thinking how it could have fit her so much better. I think a different material would have made a huge difference

I liked her look but wish it showed off her figure a little more. But, I loved the minimalist hair and makeup. My favorite guest is Kitty Spencer:

EllyAnne :  I saw a lot of confused expressions from the guests over his enthusiasm. They seemed very amused and I was very amused with their reactions! 😂

in general, I was actually pretty disappointed with her dress. I thought Catherine’s dress was boring and boy was I shocked to see Meghan’s even more boring. But what I think doesn’t matter. What matters is she loves it and she feels comfortable in it. Watched the entire thing and I could see her mom was sooooo proud and emotional!! Such a sweet thing to see.

I liked a lot of the guest’s outfits. I thought Carey Mulligan looked beautiful.

Really disliked Eugenie and Beatrice’s outfits.

I liked the choir singing ‘Stand By Me’.

I thought the dress was quite elegant but there was nothing amazing about the whole look together. Maybe because she always looks stunning so it’s not like us average people who look the best we ever have on our wedding day. It was very timeless and won’t date which will probably be a positive.

I really liked the dress, but yes, it was ill-fitting.

I also loved the veil and tiara combo, just not her hair.Everytime I see her hair styled like this I want to put those darn bangs neatly back! I really dislike this messy style for a royal bride.

Am I the only one who thought Meghan’s mother looked very sad? Everytime the camera was on her she looked like she was in mourning.

SweetBeets :  I had the same impression. I think she doesn’t really like how much of her freedom her daughter will have to give up from now on. Let’s be real, fairytale and all, but marrying into royalty surely isn’t easy.

I didn’t watch it, because the only thing I was interested in was seeing her dress (which I Googled first thing this morning)…extremely underwhelming! The dress doesn’t look “bad”, persay…but it doesn’t really look lke a wedding dress—for anyone—and she’s marrying a prince for goodness sake! This probably sounds harsh, but it’s so incredibly plain it makes me think of what someone marrying into a misogynistic cult would wear. It doesn’t flatter her, and I doubt it’d flatter anyone. If it was a tea/knee length day dress, it’d be cute…but not a wedding dress.

And don’t get me started on her headpiece/tiara thing…I’m oblivious to what the specs are on that thing, but to me I think it looks tacky and cheap…like something you’d find at Claire’s. Though obviously I know it’s not…but I just don’t like that style.

I was surprised to see so many people commenting on her makeup…I don’t really think you could ever go wrong with simplistic makeup, it’s always a safe bet and I think she looks lovely in that aspect.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. I’m sure they’re very happy together and that’s all that matters.

I think she looks beautiful, but I’m underwhelmed by the dress. I think it’s boring. Very modern and stylish, just not my taste.

I was surprised by the dress, and the ceremony! Loved her look though, so simple and elegant and will be a timeless look. Hair and makeup on point, let her natural beauty shine through. The music was beautiful, wonderful to see them have a laugh at the beginning. The pastor was interesting….
