No comments on Harry’s attire yet but I thought it was so dull?! So much black.

Dress was a flop to me. It’s one of those styles that looks cool in a magazine spread but doesn’t do it for me otherwise.

I hate to say it, but Diana’s wedding dress set us up to swoon over the fairytale dress every time there’s a royal wedding. Was disappointed we didn’t get that effect here.

I think she looked gorgeous. She’s just so incredibly beautiful that the simple dress and makeup let her shine. The tiara was just enough sparkle too.

She looked stunning and stayed true to her personal style. The veil and tiara was everything so the dress needed to be a bit more simple to not clash. She’s also a 2nd time bride. Also I think a bit loose so she could sit and walk easily.

Bishop Curry was amazing. The white people of that church didn’t know what to do but black pastors are the greatest.

Her mom gave me so many feelings. And they’re just so genuinely in love and cute.

I was surprised by her dress, but I thought she looked lovely. I honestly thought she would go with something a bit more stylish for a royal wedding. Then again, I guess they normally go traditional and modest? I was also surprised at her natural looking face. She’s gorgeous, I’m just surprised she went so plain with her overall look. I liked the pastor, but many of their expressions during the sermon made me giggle. It seems most of them are not accustomed to that type of a service. I did get a little nervous when he started talking about fire, the industrial revolution, and social media though. Gotta stay on topic….

dreamreve1 :  The Queen knows Bishop Curry well. Not just white people, a lot of Brits aren’t used to that type of (almost) sermon. They should have kept their faces neutral though. BRF are used to visiting countries around the world where they are the audience to many traditional ceremonies  dances etc.

khaleesi13 :  I don’t get this comment about diversity. We are one of the most multi cultural societies in the world. It’s just not the norm for a church wedding here. Most of our vicars/ priests would send people to sleep.

The dress is ok, but I don’t think she’s very attractive. I know I’m in the minority here.

I was surprised at the simplicity of her dress as well but I just can’t get over how IN LOVE they looked. The way he looks at her is just so sweet. They both, despite their status, seem innately humble.

I loved the simplicity of her her dress, loved the neckline!  I expected a bit more from her hair and makeup  – but perhaps the weather was making her hair flat?  That happened to me – muggy weather flattened it.

But what REALLY matters is the way Harry looked at her – AWESOME!!!

You thought Queen Mary’s 1930’s diamond bandeau tiara lent by the Queen tacky and cheap did you? And the dress was ‘not like a wedding dress’ ?  Good thing you aren’t a style consultant lol….

PS while l’m feeling snarky, the Latin phrase  is per se , not ’persay’. And  simplistic does not mean simple. ‘.

Er, the Queen and many other Royals are just about the most travelled people on the planet and have probably seen more ethnically diverse ceremonies than you and l have had the proverbial  hot dinners .

Also, perhaps you have never been to the Uk, had you done so you might have noticed it is hardly monocultural.
