I sent wedding invitation for the A-lister.
My fiance and I waited and see if the number of guest would reach our expected number with A-lister. Unless we would send the invitation to B-lister.
But the problem is the due date shown on the RSVP card is past.
Shoud I put any note? If so, what should I say?
Thank you guys!

A written note would not get immediate responses… it will take a while for it to get there. If you need to know, I would email or phone the people you are awaiting to hear from. If you are too busy, enlist your Maid/Matron of Honor or mom to help.

This is an old-fashioned suggestion, but why don’t you send the invitation without the RSVP card? RSVP cards are a fairly modern addition to aid people who seem to have trouble writing a card and putting it in the mail. Not sure if you’re guests are up to the challenge, but you could always give it a go 🙂
You never, never want to even hint that there is a b-list. It will hurt people’s feelings for years. Check out Emily Post on this subject.
