We are having the same dilemma! We will be moving cross-country between the time our invites go out and the RSVPs are due. We decided just to ask for online RSVPs. It is less formal but we’d prefer receiving them directly ourselves.

Can’t you request mail forwarding though the post office?  When I moved in with Fiance, I changed my address but also requested mail forwarding for a year.

We’re going to have the same issue, as well! Our invites are due to go out next month, and I haven’t decided what to do yet!

Normally I’d say put your own address, but since you definitely want to receive every single one, I think you should put your names with your parents’ address. Maybe a “jlpalumbo & fi, c/o jlpalumbo’s parents” just in case the deliveryperson needs to see their names on the envelope.

@prisigtr:  Good idea! Do you happen to know at which point the mail is forwarded though? If it is not forwarded until it reaches the original destination then our RSVP cards would take a looong trip from the Lower 48, up to Alaska (where we are currently) then back down to the East Coast (where we will be). It might take a while 🙂
