So as many of you brides are, me and my Fiance are struggling with the heavy price tag that comes along with having a wedding. We are trying to cut down our guest list by not allowing very many plus ones. This is the wording I have come up with:
Please respond on or before [DATE]
We have reserved 2 seats in your honour
___ of 2 will attend ___ of 2 will not attend
Please initial the entree choice of each guest
____ Chicken ____ Salmon ____ Vegetarian
Im not sure if it is too repetitive, or too in your face. Like I said, we are having a tight guest list with a pre-selected meal (using color coordinated escort cards). We want something where we know who will be having which entree, and to let people know that they can either bring a guest or not, and if they choose to do so.
What do you ladies think about the wording? How would you word it? Let me know!

I don’t think you need the “_ of 2 will not attend” but other than that it looks good 🙂

@missmidcentury: I agree. I would put:
“____ of 2 will attend _____ unable to attend”
And keep the rest like you’ve got it.

Hopefully people understand to check “can’t wait” or “can’t make it” and fill in the # attending!
I agree with the others, you really don’t need the “will not attend.” I think it’s fine otherwise!

Has any past or any future Brides that are printing their own invites, filling in the name of the guest for them on the response card?? or should that be left for the guest to fill out and name who will be attending?! Because it seems like thats one of the major problems, guests not filling their names out; making us rely on our invisible ink method or numbering methods. =) Which I have no problem doing anyways!
