- Wedding: October 2013 - The Down Town Club, Philadelphia
My venue has table-side ordering for entrees, so I won’t have to put that on the RSVP card. Thank God, bc I don’t want to deal with that hassle! FI thinks we should put “Your dinner will be ordered tableside” – or something to that effect on the RSVP card, so no one thinks we either forgot or are having a buffet (he hates buffets). I am honestly shocked that he even cares about this little thing.
But. I’ve never seen it done.
What would you do?
I kind of don’t want to put anything regarding the meal on the RSVP.

Just put it somewhere on the wedding website.

It would be weird to tell people something like that a head of time. Just like you wouldn’t put that you will have chairs for them, and instead of cake there will be pie, or that you will be wearing a big dress.
They are details that don’t matter to whether or not someone will accept or decline.
I LOATHE buffets, but I would never decline because there is a buffet, and would never assume not getting a selection on the RSVP meant buffet. More likely I would think it was a plated meal with no selection, or a duet platter or stationed style party.
