- Wedding: December 2012
Ok, here’s my situation:
Wedding is on December 30, 2012. Numbers and final payment are due November 30, 2012. I want to leave myself a good week to follow up on any unanswerd RSVP’s or address any situations should someone request to bring a plus one that wasn’t invited.
This of course would mean November 22-23rd–Which is Thanksgiving. I’m thinking I should do the Mondy before Thanksgiving (18th) but is that “too” soon to have guests RSVP for a end of December wedding? I’ve heard some ettiquete experts say to only give your guests 2 weeks to RSVP but I’m sending my invites out a full 3 months due to so many guests being Out of Town (flying Out of Town now just a few hours away). So that would mean somewhere end of October. I just feel like that’s “too” early to ask my guests to determine their plans. I’m afraid this will result in a lot of last minute changes from guests who thought they couldn’t come but now can or vice-versa. Any suggestions?
