We live together so I wrote:

Ms. My Name

Mr. His Name

Our Address

Our Town, State Zip

I would probably still use both your names and then whatever address they are being sent to. As long as one of your names is on the envelope, it will still get delivered.

I had mine addressed to my mom since technically she and my dad are the ones paying for the wedding, but we live together so I knew I’d be here to open them anyway.

I think it’s fine to address them to whomever you feel will keep a good count on them when they come in, even if that’s yourself.

I would address them to yourself, just in case some old-fashioned family members might be surprised to find out you’re living together. 🙂

@vabride2011: My parents and his parents are both paying for the wedding, but I think even if they were paying for the whole thing, they would come to me. I’m planning long distance and it would be very inconvenient to have my mother receive all the invitations and then have to tell me over the phone every day who said yes and who said no (since I’d be the one putting the seating arrangements together).

I was wondering the same thing.  My Fiance and I don’t live together, so I think I’ll just put my name.  My parents are paying for the wedding, but I know I would drive my mom crazy asking her what came in the mail every day, so I think I’ll just put my name/address on them.

We haven’t gotten to this point yet, but I’m too much of a control freak to have them go to anyone else!!
