OKAY…so I need some help, fast. I got the proofs for the invites and rsvp cards. I’m trying to change them asap so I can get them printed and mailed soon.
Originally our rsvp cards said “please indicate each guest’s entree selection”.
Fiance is British and after going over the proofs with his family, they noted that “entree” in the UK means “starter”…so now we can’t use “entree”. We are ordering the invites as a whole and are sending them out to both US and UK guests so they have to make sense to both cultures.
So right now I am trying to think of other, more formal words for “meal”
We haven’t gone to the tasting yet and won’t be able to for a while so we are asking guests to indicate if they would like “meat” or “vegetarian”.
This is what I would like it to say:
Please indicate each guest’s _____ selection
__ meat ___
__ vegetarian ___
I don’t want it to just say “meat” or vegetarian” I want it to say “meat dinner” or vegetarian dinner” or “choice” but I can’t find a good word.
help me fill in the blanks. Should it say dinner? Meal? Take out selection and write menu choice?
