I did not put anything, but people wrote little notes anyways!  Some advice and some just messages that they were excited!

You can always put an advice column in your guest book if you have one!

About 50% of my guests wrote on the RSVP cards and all of them are generic “Yay! Can’t wait” or “Congratulations!” type of things. It never dawned on me to write on people’s RSVPs until now!

I would do the advice notes rather than adding it onto the RSVP cards. There’s more room, I’m guessing, if you did it that way. Plus, it’s one more “activity” at the wedding. If you print in on the cards, people may feel obligated to give advice even if they have no advice whereas having separate advice cards gives people the option.
