A lot of my family and friends didn’t send theirs back and when I casually said something they said something along the lines of “Of course I’m coming – I wouldn’t miss it! I just thought you knew I was coming”.

Um, no. I didn’t just know you were coming. We put the return address AND postage on it and people STILL couldn’t send them back in.

Its really frustrating, but hang in there!  You will be surprised to see how many send them out last minute.

Good luck!

Mine were due today and we had a lot outstanding as well. I wrote my invites and Fiance invites facebook messages tonight and got 2 reponses so far. I don’t get it all you have to do is check a box and mail the card in it’s free.

Our due date was last Saturday and we are still waiting to hear from about 60 people!  Our wedding is in just over 2 weeks, so I’m getting nervous.  It’s very frustrating!  We also have people who just assume we know they are coming… some have even reserved rooms in our hotel block without RSVPing.

mine are very slowly coming in. its been almost 3 weeks since i got the last one. what kills me is i made it a half second prcess for them. its a postcard, addressed, stamped and even had their name on it. all they had to check was yes or no…thats it…i should have sent them with pens so they didnt even have to go find one lol

Our RSVP for overseas guests has come and gone. I actually haven’t heard from anyone. I know a few of them have plane tickets because Mother-In-Law told Fiance, but we aren’t exactly sure whose coming (just siblings, or spouse & kids?)

as for local RSVP’s about 50% have replied, but most as they see me in passing. Because of the postal strike I didn’t send out response cards -I speciffically asked people call or email. I hope no one has stuck them in the mail because I won’t get them in time!

We had about that amount as well.  Luckily, we had about 5 come in the last week and the rest were very easy to attain by phone calls.

We have one week until our RSVP deadline too, and about half our (75 or so) RSVPs are still not in, accounting for a possible 105 people!  Don’t worry about it until the day that they’re due.  I know that I’m TERRIBLE at sending RSVPs back until the day before.

Yep, I’d say we never got about 85% of our RSVP cards back… very frustrating, as it resulted in us having to track down people individually.  Our RSVP’s were postcards, with the return address and stamped already. REALLY not difficult…. gr.

Ours were due on Sunday and we’re still hunting people down. A good number of people fb messaged me on Sunday with their RSVP (thanks for using the envelope guys…) so don’t worry too too much.

All of my friends (in the “irresponsible” age group) responded before the dead line, all but 4 on my mom’s side responded and  we’re missing close to 20 on FH’s side. Of course, someone in the house party hasn’t talked to us in close to 2 months and won’t respond to texts, phone calls, etc
