We just had our first guest rsvp and I realized we don’t know their +1 name or who wants which entree.
What should we do? It’s was just a friend from work so asking them isn’t a problem and we know it’s her long-time boyfriend. But I don’t know his name and I don’t know if he wants the chicken or the fish.
Thank you so much!

Just ask her. It’s not a problem at all to confirm with her.. she should have put his name on the RSVP anyway.

E-mail is easy. This won’t be the only one you have to double-check with, unfortunately!

Well our RSVP is online. So I’m trying to figure out how to word it lay it out
We are asking for everyone’s email so that’ll be our back up plan.

Yup – just shoot her a quick email and ask!

Oh yeah, just call and ask or email and ask. You can just tell her that you’re preparing the final list for the caterer and you want to be sure they get their preferred entree selection. Guests that don’t live under a rock will completely understand why you need to know.
If this is your biggest glitch for the mission, you’re sitting pretty!

Thank you! In my moment of pure panic I realized I didn’t mention it was an online rsvp…going green and all.
My fiance is so amazing he redesigned it with a add guest and drop down menu in about 15 minutes.
He’s going to ask his co-worker to re-rsvp.
We’ll have to play the guessing game with his grandfather (or draw straws at who calls between him, best man, or his mom) He’s our only paper rsvp.

thanks for sharing, this can definitly help other brides when they design their rsvp either by paper or online to help guests be more specific!
