I would just wait until the normal “make the calls” time… If it got lost then it got lost and I’m sure that your guests will be understanding of why their still getting the call… I think we had 1 that got “lost”.. but just got the yes/no when we made our call list =)

Lol… I feel ya. We only got like 12 cards back out of the 53 invites we sent out. One guest didn’t even realize & thought it was just a “pretty picture” (she never turned it over lol)

It may be tacky or whatever word you wanna use, but I put a reminder up on facebook mainly because the only people who haven’t responded are on my mom’s side of the family. They will be on Facebook all day, but getting them to answer the phone is a pain in the ass. My deadline was Friday, I have to turn the headcount in on Wednesday, and still haven’t heard from both of my aunts. Well one said she would mail hers out last Wednesday, but I haven’t received it yet and we live in the same town. It usually takes like a day for mail to go from one to another here.

My catering manager said to have parents make the calls because they will more likely get the real answer. If we make the calls then people don’t want to hurt our feelings so they give a false yes or a maybe.

I think it’s fine to send an email reminder, and you have the perfect excuse in that you are moving! As long as it’s light and fun, I wouldn’t find it at all annoying or rude to be reminded. (But you’ll stlll have to make some phone calls. :0) Good luck!

I would just wait until the RSVP date has passed (a few days later) and call them to see what their decision is. Are you forwarding your mail to your new place?

If you change your address with the post office, they will forward the cards to you with your regular mail.
