I had a quick question….
Anyone else experience NOT getting RSVP’s back? I sent my invites out weeks ago & have a Feb 25th response date on my RSVP’s and I’ve only gotten 10 back!
I don’t get it!…
We’re have a smaller sized (100 invited) wedding and MOST of the guestlist are people we’re pretty close to as we’re really involved in our Young Adults Ministry & so are they… geeze… most of them have bee asking about the wedding since my Fiance and I got engaged!
Sigh…. I’m starting to get pretty discouraged & frustrated considering we cut our list to immediate family for cost & now the handful of friends we DID choose aren’t responding….
Tell me I’m not the only one lacking in responses =/

@runsyellowlites: If you put an RSVP by Feb 25th date, they are probably waiting until Feb 25th to put the response in the mail.
Give them until mid next week then start making phone calls.
Sometimes people need to be “poked” to respond.

Yeah, people are not great with rsvps. We got a ton right away and now pretty much nothing. We have over 100 that we are still waiting on and our rsvp is the 1st. We decided we would start calling/emailing around march 7/8th…
A bunch of the people who haven’t responded yet, we already know their response – they just haven’t mailed it! Also, don’t be surprised if you never get 10-15% back…that happened to both of my brothers.

i had to call around the week of my wedding to see if some were coming – we recieved alot of them on the actual deadline date though – out of 190 people invited we ended up with about 120 – and probably had to call 6 different families to see if they were coming or not.

I haven’t experienced the joys of people not RSVPing on time yet (can’t wait!!), but from what I hear, you frequently need to chase people 🙂
