We’re still a month out from our RSVP deadline but so far we have 27 yes’s and 0 no’s. Now, you’d think I’d be thrilled about that but I’m not. We invited 83 but told the venue 75 so that’s the number we’ve been paying for. If all 83 show then we have to cough up an extra $600+ which I would really rather not do. *sigh* I know I shouldn’t stress since I’m sure we’ll get a few “no’s” eventually. I mean, has anyone in the history of weddings ever had ever single invited guest attend?

@Mrs. Meowerson: I’m very surprised we’ve gotten them back so soon, too, though I never understood holding on to them until the last minute anyway. I pretty much know if I’m going to attend something as soon as I’m invited so I don’t really see the point in waiting to RSVP.

Yesterday one of FI’s co-workers gave him his RSVP in person, sealed in the stamped envelope. Not gonna lie, I was a little pissed, lol. We paid for that stamp and god dammit I like getting these back in the mail! lol

@UpstateCait: My aunt handed me hers at my father’s funeral.  She’s lucky I didn’t slap her.

@UpstateCait: I’ve got two from my coworkers in person – at least they didn’t seal them. So tempted to just slap a label on it to mail it out as a thank you (of course to one of my sisters or my Mom, as they are totally about saving money).

We are missing 30 RSVPs, of 68… deadline is August 1st….
